Our inspiration came from one of our customers who wanted to individually integrate an MFD15 into their Mazda MX5. The result: a special conversion kit that allows you to remove the original oil pressure gauge and install our state-of-the-art display - all without cutting! This is the Wagner Tuning Dsiplay Mazda MX5 NB Tachometer Conversion.
Choose up to eight pages from various views and customize your display to suit you and your vehicle best:
Brand new with our MFD15 Gen2 is access to the device via WLAN. This allows you to set up the MFD15 Gen2 via smartphone or PC.
With the oDSS, you can fully configure your display, log values (license required), upload your own startup image, and update the display as well.
A popular customer question is, What values can I query from my control unit? The answer: ALL - Our MFD15 Gen2 is compatible with ISO 11898-2 and SAE J2284.
The control unit manufacturers determine which values are sent via the CAN Bus interface. Documentation is important here - possibly even in the form of a DBC file that can be imported via our DSS. Of course, you can access our extensive list of already implemented control units as a customer. Depending on the manufacturer, up to 64 sensors can be queried.
Default inclusions:
– OBD2 – 11 and 29-bit
– Ecumaster - Classic and Black
– VAG PQ34
– Haltech v2
– LinkECU
– MaxxECU
– Motec M1
– Emtron
– Megasquirt 2 and 3
If the desired control unit is not listed, you can download or request the appropriate TRI/TRX in our database.
The internal LED can be used both as a shift light and as a warning LED.
As a shift light, you can assign up to 8 different colors and speed limits as well as a speed at which the shift light starts flashing.
As a warning LED, you can assign a minimum and maximum value for each sensor (via Sensors in the oDSS) and activate the LED there as well. If the sensor is above the maximum value or below the minimum value, the LED will flash in the previously configured color. The shift light is deactivated during the warning period.
With every delivery, you get:
You can connect any sensors via the six analog inputs - we support both linear 0-5V and NTC sensors.
Our in-house Wagner Tuning Dsiplay sensors are pre-configured in the TRI-/TRX files and only need to be connected:
For the connection, you can use our pre-assembled 4-fold AIN harness.
If you have the appropriate license*, you can also directly connect an ethanol sensor to the display using a separate pin.
With the Live Logging additional license, your display can log the sensor data into the oDSS. You can then download the log as a file to your smartphone or PC.
All sensors in the log are logged (NOTE: for OBD and UDS, only the currently displayed sensors are logged!). Choose the sensors you want to graphically display.
With the additional license for the ethanol sensor, you can connect a sensor directly to the display. You need a 10K pull-up resistor between 5V and signal.
Now you can view and log both ethanol content and fuel temperature.
With the additional license for Can Switching and AIN Forwarding, you can switch Can switches via the buttons on your display or the knob and send the input voltages of your analog inputs to the Can Bus.
The conversion is done by the customer themselves. Don't worry; you can download the installation instructions beforehand. You'll be surprised at how smoothly the installation goes with our guide.
